Concrete Breaking And Removal In The Lower Mainland

Removing concrete well starts with a cut. We saw-cut the outline first, then break out and remove only the section that has to go, so the edges left behind are clean and the surrounding concrete is not cracked or undermined.

What Breaking & Removal Is Used For

Floor Replacement

Removing failed or uneven slab sections for a new pour.

Plumbing Trenches

Breaking out saw-cut trenches for new drain and supply lines.

Driveways And Walkways

Taking out old concrete ahead of replacement.

Tenant Improvements

Damaged Concrete

Why We Cut Before We Break

Breaking concrete without a saw cut sends cracks wherever the concrete is weakest, often into areas you wanted to keep. Cutting the perimeter first controls exactly where the break stops and leaves a straight, vertical edge for the new concrete to bond against.

Large slabs are also cut into manageable pieces, which makes removal faster and safer than breaking everything into rubble.
