Concrete Core Drilling In The Lower Mainland
Core drilling removes a clean cylinder of concrete, called a core, to leave a perfectly round hole through a wall, floor or ceiling. It is how pipe, conduit, ductwork and drainage get through solid concrete without cracking the structure around them.

Spec Sheet
We core holes from ¼″ up to 54″ in diameter using electric, hydraulic, diesel and gas rigs, so we can match the equipment to the site, from a finished condo hallway to an open excavation.

What Core Drilling Is Used For
Plumbing And Drainage
Penetrations for supply, waste and storm lines through floors and foundation walls.
HVAC And Venting
Holes for ducts, dryer vents and line sets through concrete and brick walls.
Electrical And Data
Conduit and cable runs between floors, rooms and buildings.
Roadway And Slab Drains
Drainage holes through slabs, curbs and pavement.
Rebar Tie-Ins And Dowels
Small, precise holes for doweling new concrete into existing structure.
Recessed Lighting
Clean pockets for pot lights in concrete ceilings and soffits.
Wet Coring Keeps The Air Clean
Dry drilling throws fine crystalline silica into the air, which is a serious health risk for workers and anyone nearby. We core wet: water cools the diamond bit and binds the dust into slurry, which we capture and take away.
That matters most inside finished and occupied buildings. Floors get protected, electric rigs run without exhaust fumes, and the next trade walks into a clean space.

One Crew For Every Size Of Hole
Small cores for anchors and dowels need accuracy more than power. Large cores for drainage and ducting need heavy rigs, anchoring and careful planning for the weight of the core coming out. Because we carry the full range, you do not need a second company when the job grows.
Tell us the diameter, the number of holes and the wall or slab thickness, and we will confirm the rig and give you a price, usually without a site visit.
How It Works
A simple process, whether it is one core or a full floor.
Send The Job
Drawings, photos or rough sizes. A phone call works too.
Method And Quote
We choose the saw or rig, electric or diesel, and price the work.
Layout And Protection
Cut lines marked, floors covered, water and slurry contained.
Cut, Clean, Haul
Clean edges for the next trade, and the debris leaves with us.

Core Drilling Questions
Don’t see your question? Call us at (604) 340-5659.
How Big A Hole Can You Core?
From ¼″ up to 54″ in diameter. Small holes suit anchors and dowels, and large cores handle drainage, ducting and access penetrations. Depth depends on the wall or slab, so tell us the thickness if you know it.
Will Core Drilling Make A Mess Inside My Home?
We use the wet method, so dust stays bound in water instead of floating through the house. Floors are covered, slurry is captured with a wet vacuum, and we clean up before we leave.
Can You Core Through Brick And Block?
Yes. We core through brick, concrete block and stone as well as poured and precast concrete, which is common for dryer vents, line sets and plumbing.
Do You Core At Night Or On Weekends?
Yes. Our crews are available 24/7, which helps when work has to happen outside business hours in stores, offices and occupied buildings.
What Should I Send For A Fast Quote?
The hole size, how many holes, the wall or floor thickness, the material, the address, and a photo of the area. Drawings help on larger jobs.
Need Core Drilling?
Send the size, location and a photo, and we will reply with a price.
