Concrete Hand Sawing For Tight Spaces
Some cuts are too small, too tight or too awkward for a track-mounted or walk-behind saw. Hand sawing uses hand-held diamond saws to reach places big equipment cannot, and to finish corners so openings are square without overcutting.

Smaller basement and egress windows.
Detail Work
Cuts close to walls, columns and ceilings.
The Finishing Touch On A Clean Opening
A round blade cannot cut a perfectly square inside corner on its own without running past the line. Hand saws finish those corners so the opening is exactly the size on the plan and the wall around it is not weakened by overcuts.
On smaller openings, hand sawing can handle the whole job, which keeps setup time and cost down.

Hand Sawing Questions
Don’t see your question? Call us at (604) 340-5659.
When Is Hand Sawing Better Than Wall Sawing?
For small openings, tight spaces and corners. Larger openings are faster and straighter with a wall saw, finished by hand saw at the corners.
Is Hand Sawing Dusty?
We cut wet, which keeps silica dust bound in slurry instead of in the air.
Can You Cut Brick And Block By Hand?
Yes. Hand saws work well on brick, block and stone as well as poured concrete.
